ANITTA
Soon after reaching stardom, Anitta was described as one of the greatest brazilian superstar by releasing albums with multicultural and diverse references and whose tracks explore the diverse women and facets that inhabit Anitta's complex personality. Her global impact held a gathering of more than 1 million people in her street parade during her "Bloco da Anitta” event in Rio de Janeiro. Her stage name “Anitta” was inspired by the Rede Globo miniseries Presença de Anita. She thought the character Anita was “amazing” because she could be sexy without being vulgar–a girl and woman at the same time.

Born in 30 March 1993 and raised at (Honório Gurgel) Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Larissa de Macedo Machado known professionally as Anitta is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, and occasional television host. Anitta began her career singing in the choir of the Church of Santa Luzia in the Honorio Gurgel neighbourhood of Rio de Janeiro at age 8. Before concentrating on music, she considered an administrative career in the mining company Vale do Rio Doce in which she worked.
Anitta's career as a professional singer started in 2010, when she was introduced to the funk carioca producer Renato Azevedo (known as Batutinha). She was invited to record some demo tapes for him, as he had seen some of her home videos on YouTube. She then signed a contract with the independent and specialized label in funk, Furacão 2000. Some time latter, she released her first single "Eu Vou Ficar", which was played on local radio stations in Rio de Janeiro and the song was included on the series "Armagedom", which included other artists from the musical niche. Advised by her producer, she decided to put another "t" in the stage name and the acronym MC. In January 2013, Anitta signed a recording contract with Warner Music Brasil and released her debut studio album “Anitta" on July 3, 2013 through Warner Music. The album’s lead single was Meiga e Abusada released in February, followed by Show das Poderosas, released in April. The song reached number two on Billboard Hot 100 Airplay in Brazil and has sold more than 24,633 copies on Brazilian iTunes Store. The album sold more than 40,000 copies in just 10 days in Brazil, being certified as Gold by Associação Brasileira dos Produtores de Discos (ABPD).
In addition to being a poster girl, ambassador, Anitta is sponsored and has already made commercials for different brands, including Savage Fenty, Adidas, Samsung, Shein, Burger King, Elma Chips, Cheetos, Lays, Rexona, Tinder, Skol, Nubank, Claro, Bacardi, Estácio, Renault, C&A, iFood, Pepsi, Magazine Luiza, Target, Cadiveu, The Sims, Free Fire, Facebook Gaming, Brizza Arezzo, Sol de Janeiro, Hope, Tiffany & Co, among other brands. In 2014, Anitta founded the Rodamoinho group, a holding company for music and entertainment with offices in Rio de Janeiro and Los Angeles. The holding has the companies, "Rodamoinho Entretenimento" which is specifically aimed at the production and realization of concerts, events and tours. "Rodamoinho Records" is a company dedicated to the music industry as a whole, which in addition to being a label and publisher, also carries out a survey of catalogs, registration of works, release and distribution of singles, EPs and albums, management and organization of the musical collection and commercial negotiation of use and synchronization. "Rodamoinho Filmes" is an audiovisual production company, responsible for the production, execution, and delivery of videoclips, lives, and films. Who is also responsible for the idealization and executive production of the cartoon based on the life of the singer, "Clube da Anittinha". And "Floresta Music & Touring" which is a company dedicated to the management and international publishing of Brazilian artists.
In conclusion, Anitta became one of the biggest pop star in Brazil in years, and she is currently the Brazilian artist with the greatest international exposure.

Anitta Announces World Tour Dates with Baile Funk Experience
Brazilian superstar Anitta announced her Baile Funk Experience Tour on Monday morning (April 8), a global swing that includes her first-ever North American trek. The tour, which includes mostly theaters, will have Anitta will play over 20 dates in total, beginning on May 18 in Mexico and including stops in Los Angeles (Wiltern Theater), New York (Brooklyn Paramount) and Miami (The Fillmore), for a total of seven North American dates. Tickets for U.S. dates will be available starting on Tuesday (April 9) via presales with Citi and Verizon. General onsale for the U.S., Europe and the UK will begin April 12 at 10 a.m. local time. Mexico and South American dates go on sale April 11 at 10 a.m.
